2019
3 days performance

Hur and Le’Andra LeSeur perform their two spoken pieces, Love Song: Home, Church, and Cleaners and There are other hues of blue. The artists explore an emotional landscape of family, memory, love, and violence. Performing their individual narratives simultaneously, the two create a conversation between their histories, their vulnerabilities, their languages; that conversation, that interplay, becomes a form of communal storytelling and an act of ritual.
This durational performance was set to last approximately 90 minutes over three sold out night shows.
