2 Hours of Walking with a cart, a collection of discarded cemetery silk flowers

“In expressing personal narratives, I found that performance art is the most appropriate and immediate form. In one of my first performances, Mourning Cart II, I intentionally planned the performance to put myself in an uncomfortably, possibly even embarrassing situation in a public space. I walked for two hours on Peachtree Street in Atlanta with a flower cart, drawing attention from a perplexed yet intrigued public audience.”
